Section 383 (Propeller Shaft): Installation: Front

- Install propeller shaft (1) into position.NOTE:
Drive shaft bolts must be replaced with NEW or cleaned and Mopar® Lock and Seal Adhesive or equivalent applied.
- Starting at transfer case end, align index marks placed upon removal and loose-install propeller shaft-to-transfer case flange bolts.
- Align index marks at front axle end of shaft, and loose-install propeller shaft-to-front axle flange bolts.
- Torque propeller shaft-to-transfer case and axle flange bolts (2) to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install propeller shaft heat shield (1).
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
