Section 76 (Propeller Shaft): Installation: Front

1 - PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

2 - BOLTS

Install propeller shaft (1) into position.
Starting at transfer case end, align index marks placed upon removal and loose-install new propeller shaft-to-transfer case flange bolts.
Align index marks at front axle end of shaft, and loose-install new propeller shaft-to-front axle flange bolts.
Torque propeller shaft-to-transfer case and axle flange bolts (2) to 64 N.m (48 ft. lbs.).

1 - HEAT SHIELD
Install propeller shaft heat shield.
Lower vehicle.
