Module, Telematics Gateway: Removal: Removal

  1. Perform a complete backup of user data. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the switch-bank and bezel assembly (1). Refer to POD, SWITCH BANK, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the retainers (1) from the Telematics Gateway Module (TGW) (2) and pull out far enough to access the connectors on the back of the TGW.

    CAUTION:

    Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.

  5. Disconnect the antenna(s) (1), Hands Free Module (HFM) and UCI cables (4), video cable (3) and wiring connectors (2) from the TGW.
  6. Remove the TGW from the vehicle.
