Module, Transmission Control: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the knee bolster/steering column lower panel. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
  4. Remove the fasteners securing the TCM to the vehicle.
  5. Remove the TCM from the vehicle.
