Module, Hands Free: Installation: Installation

NOTE:
The Hands Free Module (HFM) (1) is mounted above the steering column (3) and against the dash panel (4) to the underside of the instrument panel column support bracket.
- Position the Hands Free Module (HFM) (1) above the steering column (3) and close enough to the dash panel (4) to access and reconnect the three wire harness connections (5) to the module connector receptacles.
- Position the HFM to the underside of the instrument panel column support bracket.
- Install and tighten the two screws that secure the HFM to the underside of the instrument panel column support bracket. Tighten the screws securely.
- Reinstall the brake pedal assembly (1) to the dash panel. Refer to PEDAL(S), BRAKE AND/OR ACCELERATOR, INSTALLATION .
- Reinstall the knee blocker to the instrument panel steering column opening. Refer to KNEEBLOCKER, INSTALLATION .
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
