The Electronic Pedestrian Protection (EPP) module (also known as the Electronic Pedestrian Protection Module/EPPM or the PedPro module) monitors the front EPP impact sensors at the front of the vehicle to control the pyrotechnic EPP actuators located on each hinge at the back of the hood panel.
