Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM): Operation: Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Jeep Patriot and 2013 Jeep Compass. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

All of the current to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) comes directly from the positive battery cable to a stud located on the bottom of the TIPM. The cable is secured to the TIPM stud with a nut. Internal connection of all the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) circuits is accomplished by an intricate network of hard wiring and bus bars. Refer to appropriate Wiring Diagrams for complete circuit diagrams.

The fuses and TIPM housing assembly are available for service replacement.
