Module, Power Inverter: Removal: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .

Remove the retainers (1) and remove the reinforcement plate (2).

Remove the upper power inverter retainers (1).

Remove the lower power inverter retainers (1) and disconnect the wiring connector (2) from the power inverter module and remove from the vehicle.
