Pump, Water: Description: Diesel

A centrifugal water pump circulates coolant through the water jackets, passages, radiator core, cooling system hoses and heater core. The pump is driven from the engine crankshaft by a single serpentine main drive belt.
The water pump assembly is mounted directly to the engine block and is equipped with a coolant temperature sensor, thermostat and housing, and coolant tubes mounted on the back side of the water pump housing.
