Module, Body Control (BCM): Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the electric connectors from the Body Control Module (BCM).
- Remove the three fasteners (1) that secure the BCM.
- Remove the BCM from the housing.
- Flip over the BCM to remove the wiring harness connections to the back of the unit.
- Remove the BCM from the vehicle.
