Module, Blind Spot (BSM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector before disconnecting the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Reach up behind the outboard end of the rear bumper fascia to access and disconnect the wire harness connector (4) from the appropriate blind spot sensor (3) connector receptacle.
  3. Disengage the latch tabs (2) of the blind spot sensor mounting bracket and pull the sensor out of the bracket.
