Module, Door (DDM/PDM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower trim panel from the inside of the front door to access the Driver Door Module (1) (DDM). Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect each of the electrical connectors (2) from the connector receptacles of the door control module.

  4. Remove the two screws (3) that secure the door control module to the front door hardware module carrier (1).
  5. Remove the door control module from the door hardware module carrier.
