Cluster Assembly

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the instrument cluster bezel (1). Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL .

  3. Disengage the two gap hider clips at the bottom of the instrument cluster.
  4. Remove the two upper (1) and the two lower (2) fasteners securing the instrument cluster to the instrument panel.
  5. Pull the top of the instrument cluster back and lift the instrument cluster upward to remove.

  6. Disconnect the instrument cluster wire harness connector (1) from the connector receptacle on the back of the cluster housing.

  7. Remove the instrument cluster (1) from the vehicle.
