Module, Park Assist (PAM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the quarter trim panel from the left quarter inner panel (1). Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the body wire harness connectors (4) from the Park Assist Module (PAM) (3) connector receptacles on the left quarter inner panel just behind the left rear wheel house.
  4. Remove the two nuts (2) that secure the PAM to the weld studs on the quarter inner panel.
  5. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
