Module, Radio Frequency (RF Hub): Installation

NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to align the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU. Follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
- Position the RF-Hub in place for installation.
- Using two fasteners (1), secure the RF-Hub to the vehicle.
Pull down the rear of the headliner to gain access to the Radio Frequency Hub (RF-Hub) module. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL .
- Connect the wire harness connectors (1) (if equipped) and the antenna wire harness connector (2) (if equipped) to the RF-Hub.
- Secure the rear of the headliner to an installed position. Refer to HEADLINER, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, follow the required routines outlined in "RF-Hub, BCM, PCM, FOBik and ELV Replacement and Programming Order Guide". Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
