Sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position: Installation

NOTE:

The accelerator pedal and APPS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) are serviced as a complete assembly including the bracket.

Install the APPS assembly over two mounting studs and the tighten nuts (2) to 11 N.m (97 in. lbs.).
Connect the APPS wire harness connector (3).
Before starting engine, operate accelerator pedal to check for any binding.
Connect the negative battery cable.
