Module, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACCM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the wire harness to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) bracket routing fasteners (2).
  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the ACC module (4).
  5. Remove the two bolts (1) securing the ACC module mounting bracket to the support cross bracing.
  6. Remove the ACC module with the bracket from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the four retainers that secure the ACC module to the ACC module mounting bracket.
