Programming The CUSW ECM

This procedure is required when one or more of the following situations are true:

NOTE:

If the KL 2.0L Diesel ECM is replaced, the Body Control Module (BCM) Proxi procedure must be performed before beginning these instructions. Using the scan tool, go to BCM, then 'Miscellaneous Functions'. Perform the 'PROXI Configuration Alignment' routine. Then, continue with these instructions.

This procedure assumes that the scan tool is properly configured to the dealership network with either a wired or wireless connection. For help on how to network the scan tool, use the "Help" tab at the top of the diagnostic application.

Programming Procedure: 

If a 2.0L controller was replaced, navigate to "Misc. Functions" and perform all applicable routines as follows -

  1. PCM/ECM Replaced - Located within the Security Module
  2. ECU Replacement Without Value Transfer - if the ECU to be replaced is NOT responsive
  3. Verify PCM/ECM VIN
  4. Injector Quantity Adjustment (For 2012 and older applications only)
  5. Program Variant Code
  6. Service Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration
  7. Reset Zero Fuel
  8. Reset of Lambda Values
