Prop Assembly, Power: Installation
- Open and support the liftgate with a suitable prop or block.
- Locate the ball mount (3) for mounting the strut (1) onto the vehicle.
- Install the liftgate strut onto the vehicle by pressing into place until clip is seated fully.
- Route the wiring harness through the access hole on body and connect the connectors (2).
- Install the rubber grommet (1) into the access hole.
- Locate the mount (2) on the liftgate, to mount the strut.
- Install the strut (3) onto the liftgate (1) by applying moderate hand pressure until clip is seated fully.
- Test strut for proper operation.
