Control Unit, Def Heater: Installation: Installation

- Install the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Heater Control Unit (HCU) (2) and securely tighten the retaining nut (1).
- Connect the DEF HCU wire harness connector (3).
- Install the left rear wheel house. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
- Install the left rear wheel and tire. Tighten lug nuts to 136 N.m (100 ft. lbs.).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect negative battery cable.
