Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Installation

- Install the DriveTrain Control Module (DTCM) (2) to the mounting studs.
- Install the DTCM mounting nuts (1) and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the DTCM wire harness connectors.
- Install the cargo load floor. Refer to LOAD FLOOR, CARGO, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
- Perform the DTCM verification test. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
