Module, Power Top Control, Full Open Retractable Roof (PTCM): Installation

Position the module (2) onto the power full open retractable roof assembly.
Install the two mounting screws (1).
Connect the electrical connectors (3).
Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
Re-initialize roof assembly. Refer to MODULE, POWER TOP CONTROL, FULL OPEN RETRACTABLE ROOF (PTCM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
