Removal And Installation: Removal
- Remove the Driver AirBag (DAB). Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove steering wheel to remove switches.
- Remove the remote radio switches. Refer to SWITCH, REMOTE RADIO, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Remove the screws (1) from the backside of the steering wheel (2).
- Release the wire harness from the retainer and the wire harness connector from its retainer. Note the routing of the wire harness in the steering wheel for ease of installation.
- Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1).
- Remove the Speed Control switch and/or the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) switch (2) from the steering wheel.
