Sensor, Transaxle Range: Description

The Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) is mounted in the transmission, and is accessed after the valve body is removed.

The TRS is a five wire sensor with circuits for Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive.

The TRS reports the transmission manual valve position to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
