Keyless Ignition Node (Kin)

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    1 - Locking Tabs
  2. Working from below the dash locate and release the locking tabs securing the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) from the bezel and remove the KIN from the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Connect the wire harness connector.
  2. Install the KIN in the bezel until the latches are fully engaged.
  3. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
