DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate/Swing Gate: Spoiler: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the lower and upper liftgate trim panels. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL .
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the center high mount stop lamp (2).
4. Disconnect the washer solvent hose (4).
5. Remove the five nuts (3).
6. Using pliers, squeeze the two white retainers (1) and release the spoiler from the liftgate.
