NOTE:

LHD shown, RHD similar.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. The tolerance between the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) and the instrument panel is very tight, so to avoid damage to the I/P the use of a feeler gauge (1) or equivalent is needed to release the ICS (2) enough to get a trim stick behind the ICS.

  3. After the trim stick (2) is inserted behind the ICS (3), release the retaining clips and partially remove the ICS.

  4. Disconnect the ICS wire harness connector (2) from the ICS (1b).
  5. Remove the ICS (1b) from the vehicle.
