Module, Power Inverter: Installation

- Position the Power Inverter Module (PIM) to the bracket so that the upper (1) and lower (2) screws can be inserted securing the module to the bracket.
- Position the PIM and bracket to the vehicle for installation. Use a screw (1) to secure the bracket arm in place.
- Insert the screw (1) securing the bracket located next to the ventilation door motor (2).
- Connect the electrical connector to the PIM.
- Install the ventilation duct (1). Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
