Removal And Installation: Installation
- Inspect the radiator for damage.
- Install the cooling fan (1b) onto the radiator and secure the retaining tabs (1a).
- Install the radiator/cooling fan assembly (2b) and the retaining brackets (2a).
- Install the closeout covers.
- Install the lower radiator hose (2).
- Install the upper radiator hose (1).
- Attach the lines (2a) and secure the retaining clips (2b).
- Attach the wire harness (1c), connect the cooling fan resistor wire harness connector (1a) and the cooling fan wire harness connector (1b).
- Install the A/C condenser (1b) and the retaining clips (1a).
- Using NEW seals, install the A/C line (2b) to the condenser and securely tighten the fastener (2a)
- Using NEW
seals, install the A/C line (1b) to the condenser and securely tighten the fastener (1a).
- Install the transmission oil cooler (1b) and secure the retainers (1a).
- Remove the seal plugs from the transmission cooler and the transmission cooler lines.
- Using NEW
seals, install the transmission cooler lines (1b) to the transmission cooler (1c) and install the retaining clips (1a).
- Install the radiator air deflector (1c) and secure the side retainers (1b) and securely tighten the fasteners (1a).
- Install the front bumper reinforcement (1c). Tighten the nuts (1b) and bolts (1a) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the air cleaner inlet tube (1b) and securely tighten the fastener (1a).
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE COOLING SYSTEM - 2.4L .
- Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to R-1234YF REFRIGERANT SYSTEM EVACUATE and R-1234YF REFRIGERANT SYSTEM CHARGE .
- Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
