Module, Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS): Installation

  1. Position the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS) module (1) for installation.
  2. Install and securely tighten the fasteners that secure the AFLS module to the AFLS module bracket.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector to the AFLS module.
  4. Install the passenger lower silencer panel. Refer to PANEL, SILENCER, LOWER, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
