Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation

  1. Install the radiator (2) into the lower mounts and engage the upper radiator isolators (1) to the mount.

  2. Install the upper right side radiator mount cover (1) and securely tighten the two bolts (2).
  3. Install the upper left side radiator mount cover (4) and securely tighten the two bolts (3).

  4. Install the condenser to the radiator and securely tighten the bolts (1).

  5. Install the nut (1) securing the A/C discharge and liquid line junction block to the bracket (2) and securely tighten.

  6. Install the bolt (1) securing the A/C line to the radiator and securely tighten.
  7. Connect the A/C pressure switch wire harness connector.

  8. Install the transmission cooler (2) and tighten the bolts to (1) the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  9. Install the cooling fan. Refer to INSTALLATION  .

  10. Connect the lower radiator hose.
  11. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION  .
  12. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
