Speed Control (Service Information): Description: Adaptive

The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system is an electronically controlled driver assistance system which combines the cruise control functions with a function for monitoring the distance from the vehicle ahead to keep the vehicle at a set speed and distance without needing to touch the brake and accelerator pedals (the distance can be set by the driver using the specific switch).

The ACC uses a radar sensor, located in the front fascia grille and a Forward Facing Camera (FFC) located in the top middle of the windshield to detect the presence of a vehicle ahead.
