Switch, Memory: Installation

  1. Install the memory seat switch (1) into the driver door handle bezel. Push the switch firmly into the bezel until the tabs (2) are fully engaged.
  2. Connect the wire harness connector (3) from the memory seat switch.
  3. Install the driver door panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  5. Using a scan tool, perform the Power Seat System Verification test. Refer to POWER SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
  6. Verify proper memory seat system operation.
