Battery System (Service Information): Battery: Installation

Set the battery into the battery tray.
Install the battery retainer and battery retainer bolt and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the battery thermal protection cover.
Install the positive battery cable and terminal to the battery positive post and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the Intelligent Battery Sensor. Refer to SENSOR, INTELLIGENT BATTERY (IBS), INSTALLATION .
