Power Folding Seat System Verification Test

WARNING:
To avoid bodily injury while the folding seat is in operation, keep clear of the seat leg latch striker pocket as the seat leg reaches it's fully latched position.
- Turn the ignition off.
- Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
- Ensure that all accessories are turned off.
- Ensure that the battery is fully charged.NOTE:
If the Folding Seat Module (FSM) was replaced, or if seat stow or recline motor(s) have been removed or replaced, with the scan tool perform the corresponding calibration procedure(s). Validate all 3rd row seat leg latches are latched prior to performing any calibration routines.
NOTE:The Full Stow Calibration routine should be performed only if:
- Seats have been replaced
- Seats have been reworked (latch replaced, seats removed and reinstalled, etc.)
- FSM has been re-flashed
- FSM has been replaced
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool erase FSM DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Operate the folding seat in all positions using both the right and left recliner switches and the D-Pillar Folding Seat Switch.
- With the scan tool, read FSM DTCs.
Are there any FSM DTCs present?
Yes
- Repair the FSM DTC(s). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
No
- Repair is complete.
