Removal And Installation: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the washer solvent fill tube mounting bolt (2), and remove the fill tube from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) electrical connector (1).
- Remove the four Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module to hydraulic control unit (HCU) mounting bolts (3).
- Carefully separate the ABS module from the HCU.
- Remove the ABS module from the vehicle.
