The FFCM is powered by a fused battery feed from the Power Distribution Center (PDC) so that it is only active when ignition is set to the run position.

Auto High Beam Control -  The FFCM module reports on the CAN C bus to the Body Control Module (BCM) for messages needed for the Automatic High Beam Control (AHBC) functionality, and for further detailed operating parameters of the AHBC system for further description and functionality of the AHBC system. Refer to DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION .

Adaptive Cruise Control Plus and Forward Collision Warning Plus (ACC+/FCW+) -  The FFCM reports to the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) module to create the enhanced ACC+ as well as the FCW+ operation. These components share a private CAN C bus where data from the FFCM is sent to the ACC module for data fusion for further description and functionality of the FCW+ system. Lane Departure Warning Plus (LDW+) -  The LDW+ feature uses the FFC module to identify visible lane markings and to track lane boundaries. The FFC module requests haptic responses from the Electric Power Steering (EPS) system when required for further description and functionality of the LDW+ system. Refer to DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION .
