Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) close enough to the instrument panel to connect the instrument panel wire harness connectors to the connector receptacles on the back of the cluster housing.
  2. Position the IPC mounting tabs to the mounting holes in the instrument panel.
  3. Install and securely tighten the screws (1) that secure the mounting tabs of the IPC to the instrument panel.
  4. Install the gap hider. Verify the retaining tabs are fully engaged into the instrument panel.
  5. Install the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
