Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Align and seat the KIN to the trim panel until the tabs (1) are engaged securing the KIN in the proper installed position.
  2. Install the center instrument trim panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Connect the wiring harness connector (2) to the back of the KIN (1).
  4. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
