Module, Power Liftgate Control (PLGM): Installation

Position the Power LiftGate Module (PLGM) (2) onto the left lower inner D-pillar (1).
Engage the retainers at the lower end of the PLGM housing into the slots in the lower left inner D-pillar.
Press the top of the PLGM housing against the lower left inner D-pillar, far enough for the retainers at the upper end of the PLGM housing to engage the clearance hole in the inner D-pillar.
Connect the wiring harness connectors (3).
Install the quarter trim panel to the lower left inner D-pillar. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, INSTALLATION .
Connect the battery negative cable.

NOTE:

If a new power liftgate system component is installed, or a mechanical liftgate adjustment is made, the PLGM must be calibrated (Refer to MODULE, POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL (PLGM) ).
