Sensor, Differential Pressure: Description: Diesel
The Exhaust Differential Pressure Sensor (2) is remotely mounted on the transmission housing. Two pressure tubes (3) measure pressure before and after the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)/Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The sensor is critical for fail-safe of regeneration strategy, because it interprets high pressure drops as possible high soot loads.
