Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the FFCM and FFCM bracket to pins on windshield.
  2. Press the rear of the FFCM forward until it is secured and snapped into the proper position.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the back of the FFCM.
  4. Install the rear view mirror cover.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
    NOTE:

    If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.

  6. Perform the FFCM calibration procedure. Refer to MODULE, FORWARD FACING CAMERA (FFCM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
