Backup Battery: Installation

- Position the backup battery to the TBM2.
- Connect the positive battery connector first, then connect the negative battery connector.
- Gently insert the backup battery into the TBM2.
- Install the backup battery cover.
- Install the TBM2 into the vehicle. Refer to MODULE, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE (EAM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or MODULE, GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Start the engine and make sure the "Service Required" indicator or message on the Instrumental Panel Cluster (IPC) turns OFF.
