Transmission Control Module

NOTE:

New Transmission Control Modules (TCM) are supplied with generic software. When replacing a TCM, it must be programmed with vehicle specific software. 

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available). 

For removal and installation of the Transmission Control Module Assembly (TCMA). Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
