Power Control Relay (PCR): Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the Power Control Relay (PCR) cover.
1 - PCR Wire Harness Connector 2 - PCR Nuts 3 - PCR Relay 4 - PCR B+ Terminal Nuts - Disconnect the wire harness connector from the PCR.
- Remove nuts securing the B+ terminals from the PCR.
- Remove the two nuts securing the PCR to the PCR bracket to remove it from the vehicle.
