Transmission Control Module

NOTE:

New Transmission Control Modules (TCM) are supplied with generic software. When replacing a TCM, it must be programmed with vehicle specific software. 

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available). 

For removal and installation of the Transmission Control Module Assembly (TCMA), Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 3.0L , VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L or VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 6.4L .
