Removal And Installation: Removal
NOTE:
The Temperature/Manifold Air Pressure (TMAP) sensor is also known as the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) temperature sensor.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to
BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Unlock and disconnect the wire harness connector from the intake manifold pressure and temperature sensor (1).
- Remove the screw (1) and the intake manifold pressure and temperature sensor (1).
