I/P Mounted

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the right instrument panel trim panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Using a trim stick or equivalent, release the retaining tabs (2) and slide the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) (3) out of the front side of the instrument panel trim panel (1).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install the KIN (3) into the right instrument panel trim panel (1) and verify the retaining tabs (2) are fully engaged.
  2. Install the right instrument panel trim panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM .
