Circuit Testing

  1. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, backprobe between ground and pin No. 3 (Green  wire) at master power window switch. Depress left front control button fully, then release to activate auto-down mode. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, or changes to zero volts before window is fully lowered, replace master power window switch. Retest system.
  2. Repeat step 1) while checking for battery voltage between pins No. 3 (Green  wire) and No. 5 (Red  wire) at master power window switch. If battery voltage is not present, or changes to zero volts before window is fully lowered, replace master power window switch. Retest system.
