Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Apply a vacuum or pressure to the EGR pressure sensor by using a vacuum pump. Measure PCM terminal C254- 15.

Specification:
6.0 in.Hg (152.4 mmHg, 20.3 kpa): Approx. 3.5 V
12.5 in.Hg (317.5 mmHg, 42.2 kpa): Approx. 2.5 V
16.0 in.Hg (406.4 mmHg, 54.0 kpa): Approx. 2.0 V
25.0 in.Hg (635 mmHg, 84.4 kPa): Approx. 0.5

2. If not as specified, replace the EGR pressure sensor.
